I just finished making this for a friend of mine who just had her first baby!

I had some stickers left over from making my mom a scrapbook of pictures from when my brother and I were little, and got inspiration for them from this project https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=85924.0  I haven't put the binding part on.  I thought I would be able to take better pictures of the pages without it being together.  I'm going to use ribbon to hold it together.

The outer cover.  I cut out some card board and covered it with cardstock paper.  I also left a place for her to put a picture on the front.

Inside the front cover and the first page.  The front cover says "The laughter of a child is the light of the house."  For the pages, i cut cardstock (so it would be a little sturdier) in 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" squares, punched holes for the ribbon to bind it, and pasted the decorated pages to the cardstock.

"Begin, Baby Boy, to recognize your mother with a smile."

Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanageable. -Plato"

The day I was finishing up with this, my neighbor came by with his little girls birthday present and I just HAD to put this picture in it for them to remember me by!!! (They're getting deployed to..... Hawaii.... they suck!!!   Cheesy

The back cover "A boy is truth with dirt on its face, beauty with a cut on its finger, and the hope of the future with a frog in its pocket..."

There's a good bit more pages, but didn't want to totally kill people with dial up!!!
