This is my first post on paper craft forum. Yay! I made this calendar in Once You Pop Round 9 for Heffer Joo Bug.
I filled the boxes with goodies for her card making (she already had a peek in all the boxes, even though I told her
not to) Grin. I didn't take any making of pics because I thought the process was quite straightforward.
The blank matchboxes cost €1.90 for set of 10, pretty paper €3.50 for 6 (smaller than A4). Magnets cost €1 for set
of six. Then I spent about 5-6 euros for stuff inside like ribbon, brads, fabric, felt etc. The numbers I cut from vintage
magazines from 40's to 60's. Total cost came to about €16 with some leftover craft materials for future project. Probably
could have been made more cheaply. For example by using just regular matchboxes, cheaper magnets (sold out) and putting in less surprises.
Anyways, here are bunch of pics of my pride and joy. Well, my pride and now Heffer Joo's joy!

Somehow this project slipped under my radar, but now that I've seen it (I was searching for advent calendar inspiration), let me say how cool it is! And I hope you're still planning to do these for your friends this year--but if they aren't crafty and don't appreciate little details, then don't spend as much time on them.  Smiley Part of what is so wonderful about this IS the amount of hand-crafted detail, though...Well, if you do make more, please show us some pictures!

I'm definitely making these this year. I began hoarding papers already in June!
