(I guess this topic goes here?)

So lately I have been super inspired by all the jar of whimsies swaps on craftster, but I have been too nervous to actually join a swap. Instead, I am creating whimsy jars for some of my closest friends. So far I only have little things like paper lucky stars, pins, cute trinkets from Wal-Mart, and some iron on patches that I made from scratch. I have already decorated most of the jars, and out of 4, one is already complete. I already know what I am putting in all of them, but I wanted to show off my progress and get some feedback Smiley

Here are some of the tags I made to go around the jars:

Here are the iron-ons (these have been my favorite, and pretty easy):

(all the patches wrapped up and tied in a ribbon)

This is a bobble head that I am going to paint to look like my friend's cat and the lid that goes on her jar (the jar is in the background unfinished):

Aaaand my messy, messy table with all the crafting goodies plus my roommate's pretty Christmas table cloth!
(if you look carefully, there is one jar stuffed to the brim with a shirt and strange objects in the middle of the table)

I'll post more as I go Smiley

Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

That looks really fun.  I too haven't been brave enough to join in the swaps.  I keep looking at them longingly, though and ALMOST joined the secret postcard one.

Your whimsy stuff looks really neat.  I'd love to see more.
