I'm really sorry for annoying you with another post of this kind...
but I already brainstormed a lot, flickered(?) threw the net and so on.
my problem is this: my new boyfriend and I don't know each other for such a long time.. but I'd looove to give sth to him on christmas day (actualy: before, he will be in holiday then). Nothing kitschy, pink, lovey-dovey, you know?
Another disadvatage of knowing-him-a-short-time: we don't have pretty much in common (inside jokes etc.) because we're quite busy. That's also a reason why he hasn't got many hobbies..

here some information:
-he's 16 (just like me)
-know each other since september, came together immediatly, split up for a while...and became a couple again;-)
-likes metal and rock music (don't now any details..)
-started a school education for IT-sth
-likes to go to LAN partys^^

the last fact made me think about a kind of 'LAN-party survival kit' Grin
ideas to fill it:
-coffeine products/enery drinks

that's all I got=(
that's why I try to get help from here (it's such a great community..respekt!)
can you think of anything to create such a kit or sth else or this boy? shouldn't be too personal..
aand: i can sew, knit, crochet, handle with polymer clay, beading, draw and so on.
I would be very grateful to advice..
greetz from germany

Ps: alternative: survival kit in cause his sister is cooking..

Please excuse my bad school english...
and my messy room!
And don't hesiate to tell me my failures...

Sorry it's not a crafty suggestion but I've been to a few LAN parties and the best suggestion I can give you is chocolate and snacks!  You play games for very long periods of time and it's great to have something you can snack on when you get hungry and is easy to eat, if you see what I mean.  Maybe lots of little mini bars of chocolate?

Apart from that, if he is going to school and you're good at polymer clay then maybe some pens with clay-covered handles?  And maybe some notebooks, you could decorate the covers with drawings or sew some removeable covers.

Maybe you could put the goodies in a handmade messenger bag that he can use for school or for going to the LAN parties.

you could include little cute keychains you make yourself. If you know his favorite band, you could stencil him a tshirt. Maybe a laptop case?

Does he have a desktop, or a laptop? If he has a desktop, a BIG bag for carrying keyboard/mice/cords/etc is always handy.
Fingerless gloves are nice too, even if you just cut the fingers off the cheap store bought kind.
