I took a gander at the local charity shop this morning to see what kind of stuff they had - lo and behold, I found the most AMAZING Laura Ashley red checkered curtain for, like, 5. BARGAIN. Snatched the beast up and started to get to work on it when I got home. Took me a good few hours to cut the pattern, stitch, and hem. I wubs it - then again, I'm partial to halterneck dresses anyway. Smiley

The curtain also had a white cotton lining that was stitched in it, so I used that as a FULL lining for the dress. I never tackled a skirt lining in my life, so I might as well give it a go. And it turned out amazing. It gives the dress a bit more of a professional look. Wink

*don't mind the band-aid - it's trying to heal a drumming blister from a few days ago.* Smiley

That's all there is and there ain't no more....
I craft, therefore I am.
