anyone made a gardening kit gift with seeds, etc.?
Looking for good ideas...
I was inspired by this:

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies...
she seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.'

I bet you could make one relatively easily and cheaply.
I think that a terra cotta pot with seeds or a pack of seedlings would cost around $5-8. You can pick up a spade and come gloves at the dollar store. Make some crafty plant markers or find a little book with gardening tips. Check out your goodwill or ebay.

I made some gift sets a couple of years ago:
I hand painted a large clay pot and sealed the exterior with spray gloss stuff.
I found garden tools that coordinated with the pot, added seed packets, gloves,a small tin watering can, miracle-gro, garden markers etc., filled it in with shredded hay and it was gorgeous. I made them for a silent auction and i spent around $15.00 for each of them (I am the queen of bargain shopping) and they sold for over $60.00 each!
I'll try to find a picture in my computer.
