After battling with the school blues I finally got out of my slump and did some crafting. Because of my college student status I have had to go LOW BUDGET (and I do mean low) for xmas gifts. So instead I am doing craft-mas gifts in hopes my friends dig the poo out them.

So here is my first set of craft-mas gifts (oh and I am using only what I have, so some I had to use whatever paint or fabric i have instead of going out and buying them)

jack and sally marionettes!

and another collage shot with my daughter holding them up...they are around 14 inches tall!

I made them out of the tiny dt mtn dew plastic bottles
Styrofoam balls
sculpy clay *arms hands feet legs for sally*
modge podge paper mache heads
felt and old KMFDM tee clothes
spider earrings from claires
black sharpie
and some lace
fishing line
jewelry wire and rolled up paper for the arms and legs on jack

you cant tell but jack has a tail coat on *and I added a bow after I took these pics*

I know sally isnt the right color but I only had green and grey paint...LOL...

hope you like!

These are wonderful! I especially like that you used that you have instead of buying more. Whomever gets these is one lucky cuss!
