I took about a 16 year break from my beads after one of my kids mixed them all together for me.

Now that they are older however I find myself itching to make stuff again.

Here is what my seed beads looked like when I started...

This is the progress after hours...

Still have a lot to sort but I was able to try bead wrapping again.  This is one of my favorite things to do with seed beads.  You work the bead wrap right on the crystal or stone as to not dill at all.

I think it came out nice.  I am glad I am getting more of my colors together so I can do some designs and what not.  But it is good for a 16 year break...

That does look really nice. I don't blame you for taking a break though lol.

Yay finally done moving!

Ohh, eyeing that jumble of beads kills! ( Have 4 lil ones that love doing that, grrrr! ) But I think you did a lovely job , I enjoy the mix of pearls with the crystal! Good job!

I have half-a-shoe-box full of beads you can come unjumble for me, <G>  Very pretty pendant!

I think I have about that much left of mine too.  But some of the colors I can't find anymore so I really want them all sorted.  It may take another 16 years.

Thanks all for the kind words about my pendant.  I am working on some more now that I have a few more colors to work with....

You have far more patience than I.  I think I would have just tossed them about 15 years and 360 days ago and bought anew!

So my sewing machine is down.  It is driving me nuts.

In the mean time I have been digging threw the mess of beads I have and I have wrapped a few more crystals.

I am sure I will be doing up some more.  I was wondering if there was any interest in a tutorial?  I can try to work something out when I do my next few.  I did do a small blog about them at my blog but I did not get into the how of the whole thing.

let me know.  Happy crafting all!!!

I would love a tut! Your crystal wrappings are so beautiful! I love them! I would love to make a bunch and make some sort of a window hanging. I can't imagine the beautiful rainbows and such you would get from the beads and crystals together.

They look really cool.  If you could do a tutorial, that would be great, they look like fun to make.

Your creations are beautiful.  I feel your pain sorting seed beeds.  I did that last year and it took three weeks and four hour days of sorting.  One night I cheated and used the bead spinner thinking it would go faster.  All it did was make me dizzy, literally.  Then I got the worst migraine ever in my life that lasted three days.  What did I do? I still sorted because I am stubborn like that.  After it was done I was proud of myself but I have not touched my seed beads yet, lol.

Good luck and don't be like me so stubborn you make yourself sick, lol. My spinner went to the thrift store. Smiley
