I present the all american apple pie.  Nothing spectacular, I'm just wicked proud of my crust - I'm usually iffy on them.  Made some crust cookies with the leftover dough (just like grandma used to do).  I used the reliable better homes and gardens pie recipe.

Thanks so much for the nice comments.  This was my contribution to the Thanksgiving dinner party.  We also had a pumpkin cheesecake and a pecan pumpkin pie made by others.  We had more dessert than actual food....my kind of party.
