Last year I got put into Sculpture 1 which is technically Pottery 4 at my school and my teacher told me if I wanted an A I should probably transfer out because he didn't think I could make it. I have already posted pics of my projects last year (and one got into a show) and this year I have made a good bit, these are the majority of the ones I've made but there are a few I havn't taken pictures of yet.

This was my display in the front office of our school, there are more pieces in it now though... Smiley

This is just a sphere that I rakued with a bunch of different copper based glazes. I LOVED this piece but someone broke it in a rage at our School Community Officer before we had a chance to photograph it for my portfolio!! Angry

These butterflies were a pain in my NECK to do but my teacher kept telling me to get higher with them. I'm giving this piece to my cousin after I graduate. (sorry it's sideways, but your get the idea)

This is a purse that I technically made last year but I painted it this year, so I count it as a this year project. Smiley

Now I guess I should explain why you will be seeing a bunch of fish. If you ever took AP Portfolio then you'd know that you need so many breadth, quality, and concentrations and I chose fish as my concentration. So here we are  Smiley

This is called Gyotaku it's basically taking a fish and slathering it in paint and pressing it to paper. We made a bunch of prints of this fish (which by the way my daddy caught for me just for this reason  Smiley It was a 14 inch flounder that I named Bob). I'm giving some of the paper prints away (supposedly these sell for high dollars) But neways we then printed it onto one of my platters.

This was one of my first concentration pieces and not my best, yet oddly enough my coach wants to buy it, but little does he know I'm going to give it to him

I have a love/hate relationship with this piece. I love how it turned out but I hated working on it, it just kept breaking!!! My Degital Design teacher wants this one. (once again sorry its sideways, I was just too excited that I wanted to post)

Another love/hate pieces this was actually my second concentration piece, it broke in half SIX TIMES!!! It is a tesselation of fish, it is kind of hard to tell in the picture but it is there I promise, it is done with black paint and dry brushed with reds, greens, blues, and a little bit of copper.

This piece is my pride and joy. It is an anenome with two clown fish, sponges, and an eel It was a pain in the rear end to make this piece but I LOVE IT, I don't think I'd sell this one even if someone wanted to buy it.

This is a platter with a Celtic Knot and it was rakued as well, but the brown part didn't work it was supposed to turn shiny too but I think I like it this way neways.

This is a massively big bowl with a bunch of fish silhouettes and berrium glaze

We made a mold of BOB the flounder and I used the mold to create four Bobs and I turned them/him into a vase. It is now glazed in blues/greens/blacks.

Those are all the pictures I have but like I said I still have a couple more that I havn't taken pictures of. Hope you like them, comments and constructive critisim are always appreciated Grin

Thanks Smiley

Lots of amazing stuff.
I really like the one the digital teach likes. I can't quite see or figure out the one the coach wants. I'm having trouble separating the sculpture from the background. The clown fish is amazing. So real. Is the purse a clay sculpture too?

RIP poor Bob.

Yeah it's a bit difficult in the picture but in person it's actually really vibrant, thanks about the clown fish I had fun making them and yes the purse is clay too Smiley  Everytime I make something with Bob I saw poor tortured Bob, it's kind of a joke with my teacher and I now.
