So rather than doing my grading like I should be, I have been roving around craftster.  In my wanderings, I came across the Magic Yarn Ball Swap.  What is a Magic Yarn Ball you ask?

Magic Yarn Ball Demystified - http://whipup.net/2006/04/25/kids-yarn-project-the-magic-wool-ball/

Round 9 Thread - https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=265388.0
Round 9 Gallery (so you can look at all the goodness) - https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=267300.0

So.....this would be a great swap for knitters, crocheters, and anyone who likes fiber.  Anyone up for this.  I think it sounds like a blast, but I can't swap by myself.  And....I probably couldn't organize since I have only done 1 swap and to organize I would need 2, but I would be super helpful to anyone who wants to organize if he or she wants my help.

What do you think?  Any takers?

have you asked on the thread or gallery if anyone is organizing the next round yet? a lot of times these swaps that get repeated a lot get organized and started on a schedule, but it does look like that last round just hasn't been moved to the archives yet - is it already in a discussion thread here in the new ideas forum?

I have missed it every round, LOL! Bad timing on my part, LOL!

but I did do the yarnie scavenger hunt and that was a blast - a lot of us sent MYB's in that swap

I had a blast the last time I did it! Except for the postage which was crippling (sent internationally) and my poor swap partner had a few things held captive in customs. ARG!

So count me in!

I was the organizer for the last round.  It was totally fun.  One of my favorite swaps Ive done.  If anyone else wants to organize round 10 that would be fine with me.  As Im swamped with the 12 days of Christmas swap & making Chirstmas gifts for friends and family too.  I dare not take on anymore swaps for a while.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

It would depend on the timing and also my work situation. Funds are a little tight right now...

jrsloane1 and I (she's in the room with me right now) could probably co-organize again, provided that this swap waited until January for sign ups and then probably february for actual crafting time.
That should give me time to finish up everything that I'm making for Christmas (about 23 things left yurgh) but then we could do it!!

I would definitely be interested in another round IF it is around the above time frame.  I too have tons of holiday swaps and holiday goodies to finish. Grin

Yeah!  I am so happy right now.   Grin

I am also so glad none of you who I pmd thought I was weird.  I just really wanted to do this swap and wasn't getting much feedback.

jewelaroni and jrsloane1 - If there was a little kneeling smiley face worshiping the crafty ground you walk on, I would totally use it right now.   Instead I'll blow you little smiley kisses.   Kiss  Thank you for volunteering and the time frame sounds good....I'm not saying your locked in.  I saw the probably.   Wink  I am just super glad that there is an option.  Okay...I need to go do the happy dance around my living room some more.   Grin
