I had lots of fun making this purse!

I was inspired by these 2 purses:
http://www.marloscrochetcorner.com/reversiblegrannysq.html
http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=69836

I wanted it to have granny squares like the first purse,
but a handle like the second purse.

Here's how it turned out:

The front is 9 mini granny squares.
The back is one large granny squared.

The tic-tac-toe pieces are 12 dc in a magic ring, and then finished off with 24 sc.

I used Caron Simpy Soft and a G hook.

I lined it with yellow fabric:

Thanks for looking!!

I love it!  This would be great to have in the car for long trips, or for in waiting rooms and stuff. Very creative, and I like the colors you picked out!

Cool!  I agree that it would be great for trips, lines, lectures...  Nice work

If it had grown up, it would have made a dreadfully ugly child; but it makes rather a handsome pig, I think.
