Alright so I finally finished this project ( to read more about the pattern click here).
It took me about a week to complete. 2.5 meters of 150cm wide fabric. A pack of bias tape. a whole bobin of thread and lots of patience.

For some reason I can't get any good shots of the back... but it looks way nicer in person!!

Oh my goodness!! That looks so gorgeous!

Yours looks so great! You should add a bottom to make it a kimono  Tongue I want to try this so much, but I don't know if I have the patience or the money T___T (Three anime cons in 4 months = no money left over for my sewing)

Wear that shirt with pride!! *bows*

That looks wonderful!  You picked an excellent fabric for it.  The lines in your fabric really enhance the lines of the design.  Bravo!

I keep looking at the conversation in Sewing pattern review board about this, but I'm just a little too intimidated to try it out.

haykin: you should try it out, it is kind of confusiing but I would suggest making a mock up in a cheapo faric first

Beautimous! You did a phenomenal job cathou. I like the fabric selection, the pinstripping is an interesting twist.
I saved the pattern, but I have to admit....it looks intimidating.

Did you have to change the pattern to fit you?  What did you do to the first one in the way of changes?  It's so complex that seems like I wouldn't know where to take in or let out!! Roll Eyes
