ROFL, it's such a stretchy hat that it fits both my husband and myself too! Now the hubby wants one. Wink  Thanks again for such a cute and quick pattern!

Thank you!!  I've been wondering if I could make a crocheted hat that looked like this, and now I see both of yours and know I can.  Time to log off and crochet!  Will post pics when I'm done.  Thank you again!   Grin

I made a couple of those hats when I was first learning to crochet Smiley  My husband still wears his to go hunting, and my youngest son wears the one I made for my oldest.  Yours turned out great Smiley  It makes me want to make more.

Looks great, and sounds easy enough to pound out in an evening.  I think it would like nice with the pompom, but think it looks nice without one, too.  I've yet to meet a boy who likes pompoms, anyway!   Wink

I've made two more!

I don't have a picture of the second one yet, as she grabbed it from me as soon as I finished tying the pom-pom on, but the last one was in solid baby blue. Smiley

Your daughter is pretty cute with that hat on! (I bet she's cute without it too!)  I like the pom pom on top, looks more finished.
