So this was sorta made by accident, but honestly, I'm trilled!   Grin

I was looking for a quick easy pattern to make some slippers for my mom and found this pattern:  http://www.aokcorral.com/projects/how2oct2005.htm  Its pretty much the simplest pattern ever, great for a beginner knitter, its just 2 straight needles and garter stitch.

Anyway, I made them in the biggest size, which pretty much turned out to be GIANT.  So they won't fit my mom, but they will fit me as a pair of great slouchy slippers that I can wear with socks, which is awesome, because I have hardwood floors and live in a basement apartment with electric heat in Newfoundland.  IT GETS COLD IN HERE!!!

Even better is the fact that the slipper stretches over my cast! (yes, my cast is hot pink  Smiley ) I've been hobbling around with frozen toes for the past 3 weeks, the next three weeks I can live in comfort! Hooray!!! Cheesy

i made those with caron simply soft quick in the medium size for my aunt. i was afraid since i didn't pay attention to the fact that medium says it's only for up to women's size 7 (a fact i hadn't noticed) that they wouldn't fit since my aunt's feet are about the same size as mine. they fit my feet though, and were so comfortable. i love that pattern. so quick and easy, and everyone loved them.

i love the yarn you used. looks so comfy.

The color of the slipper nicely complements the color of the cast  Grin

I'm glad an error turned out well for you.

Wonderful! It's a "happy little mistake" (*in my best Bob Ross voice*)
