I had these oxfords that i got in maybe fourth grade which i bought and then decided i hated them. So, they hibernated in my closet until my little sister made it to fourth grade this year and last night we decided to decoupage life into them. We stayed up till past midnight with the mod podge and some magazines and now, here they are:

outward facing part of shoe

left, inner

left, front

right outer

left outer

right front

both, inner

the dates say 2006, but inore it. Thanks so much for looking!!!  Kiss

I love those shoes.

Awesome work!

How durable is mod podge for this? We don't get that stuff in Aus, but I would be interested to know.

I love these! When I had mine, it was "cool" for them to look dirty instead of white and clean! Go figure...these are much cooler in my opinion! Great job!!

these are cute!!
but you're going to need to seal them with an acrylic sealer, if the modge podge gets wet it will turn gummy.

someone once told me there's nothing wrong with wanting a fairy tale... everyone lives happily ever after.

I love them! Awesome!

Dear You,
If I stepped into your shoes for 1 day, would the grass really be greener on the other side? What would I see through your eyes for 1 day? Send entry to: dearyou4mee@gmail.com. Sign with first name, city and state/country.

As I found out later that night at a party, unfortunately mod podge is not durable at all . The paper popped off in one piece. Oh well, it was a learning experience. I'm glad I got the pictures before they died. What could I use to put the pieces back on?
