I just have a quick, silly question. When you're working amigurumi's, does your seam usually follow a straight line? Or does it kind of shift around a little?

I've been trying to get mine to stay in a straight line, but it refuses to. :/ I've restarted a billion times. ^^;

Well, what do you mean by seam?

Since, when crocheting in the round, you're basically working in a spiral. The beginning point will go slightly diagonal, but it's unnoticeable in the end.

Most ami's call for you to work in a spiral, so you dont join the yarn at the end of the row, you just keep going.

But for the ones that do call for you to work in the round, I'm pretty sure the seam does shift Smiley

That's what I wanted to know, thank you. ^.^

I get too confused trying to work in a spiral, so I work in a round.
