Does anyone have a pattern or tutorial on making a Vera Bradley clone bag?
My daughter wants one for Xmas and I just can't afford to purchase a real one.  I have the fabric I need.   All can seem to find are tote type bags but she wants a zippered handbag.   Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Update:  I'm looking for a pattern for something like this:

The tutorials I've looked at either have unfinished linings or don't have the  straps down the sides if it has a zipper.

Hi Bingo1, do you have a picture of the bag that you'd like to make?

There is a Coach Bag Tute somewhere on this site...sorry, I don't have the time right now to locate it Sad I've used the basic tute with some revisions to make the Vera Bradley type bag you're looking for.  Good luck!  Nothing is better than handmade by Mom!
