I decided it was about time I made something that I could actually put on my body that might look sorta nice. So I cracked open one of my pattern books and tackled a pretty simple shrug.  I can't decide whether I should leave it a vest, or add me some sleeves, but for now I'm going to call it finished except for the ends.
I left them on for dramatic effect in my photos >.>

This is the only good picture I could catch of it, the back is really nice, I just can't get my phone to reach around and snap a good shot.  If later I decide to stick some sleeves on it I might get someone else to take some pictures for me.

That's nice I like the color. I also like the color of your hair in your avatar pic.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

I did follow a pattern, but it was really easy, it's basically a square with the ends sewn together.  The pattern was in Positively Crochet, it's got tons of good ones, this is the first one I've tried though.  The yarn was pretty cheap too, it was caron's simply soft eco, great yarn, it had little white fuzzies on it that you have to pull off though.
And I miss that color of my hair so much, lol. It faded so fast though.
