I want to make a quilt like this one but that triangle border is kinda advanced for me.  Does anyone know how to make it? Would I just cut out alot of triangles and sew two sides together and then insert it inbetween the top and backing?   Huh  Any tips would be appreciated

Those triangles are called prairie points and are made from folded pieced of fabric and attached to the top and batting after the top has been pieced. Here is a McCall's tutorial on making and attaching them. http://www.mccallsquilting.com/artheblk/prapoints/
