I really wanted to repay a friend for the kindness she's shown me over the years so I painted a photo she'd sent me of her niece with one of my puppies (this niece lives with her).  Unfortunately, I neglected to take a photo when I was all done with the painting so this is an unfinished version but it looks nearly complete. My friend cried when I gave her the painting and just last week I received the loveliest hand-made card in the mail from the niece as a thank-you.

Alas I can-not post direct photo link at this time, so I've added a link instead.  I'll update this thread when I can post a direct link however.

Critiques certainly welcome
