Here's a necklace I whipped up this morning using basically the same technique as the buddha bead bracelet in February's featured projects. I made it for my my sister's friend's birthday (she used to live with us). It's got green, pink, and purple beads with a glass teardrop pendant that has tiny flowers in it (sorry the picture's really fuzzy). This was my first time using this technique other than a little practice with some other beads, and I found that it was really fun fun to do.

Wow, that is a great necklace. I like how muted the colors are - almost pastel. I think it would look great as a piece of jewelry to accompany formal wear. Great job!

 I was thinking about that while I was making it, because she does wear formal stuff on a fairly regular basis. I'm sure she'll like it.
