The pouty pillow is a little pillow full of rice that can be heated up or frozen and put on 'aches and pains'. Wink Here's what the card said:

Pouty Pillow

This little pillow filled with rice,
Is such a comforting device.
Microwave for 1-2 minutes on high,
And kiss those aches and pains goodbye.
Apply it to the troubled spot,
The heat will ease the pain a lot.
Or warm those little toes, so cold.
You'll find this nice to have and to hold.
Or freeze it for a little while,
And fix that boo-boo up in style.
Instead of a compress made of ice
Use this pillow filled with rice.

Weyhey!!!! Cheesy Here are the piccies of the awesome stocking that Dolly Mixx sent to me  Smiley

First is the stocking & the amazing packages i saw when i opened the box!

Then is a piccie of all my goodies together. There was 25 little parcels!!!

I love these Dolly Pegs............. She also sent me a kit to make my own.......yay!

A sheepy box for me..............i love it!

There were the most amazing beads................lots of them! A bangle, hair accessory, a birds nest necklace ( i have wanted one of these for ages!), another little box with a fairy on it, a fairy collaged brooch, a wooden fairy pendant, a vintage necklace, a wooden bead bracelet, natural necklace, a fantastic chunky wool white crocheted hat with little gold flecks in it! It fits perfectly!

But my most favourite item is this!

So lush! I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!

Hi all

You may have noticed that somewhere along the line my partner went MIA - for my first dip into this swapping lark, it has been one rollercoaster ride. I have made the decision to drop from the swap, not feeling it is fair to expect someone to craft this swap in a very short period of time.

I have checked with Tattoedcrafter and she has agreed that it would be ok for me to post what I had completed and would have sent.

First the stocking

And it was filled with:

and a set of 6 Fimo candy cane tree decorations:

Along with the stocking was going:

A bowling style bag, chocolate brown fabric lined with a gorgeous red and gold fabric. The red strip shows where a pocket is and there is another pocket inside. This is my first attempt at anything bigger than an ipod case and I made it up as I went along.

An advent calendar. I made each little "pouch" and attached the ribbon, filling each one with chocolate before sealing. I added a little tag onto each one and then plaited the cord, attaching the pouches randomly as I went.

A mug filled with Hot chocolate and mini marshmallows.

A necklace, bracelet and earrings set, made with fimo candy canes.

Each gift was wrapped and decorated with a tag (unused, so they could be used for Christmas) and fimo beads.

And lastly, the item of which I was most proud

The paper within was all handmade and I specifically created colours to arrange them in a rainbow. I then bound it and used some scrapbooking papers to create an outer cover, attaching a ribbon and button to close it and two ribbons with charms to mark pages.

I have loved crafting for this swap and am a little sad at not being able to send, so I have decided to offer the stocking filled with the chocolates and the tree decorations to someone who is need of a little cheering up this christmas. If you know of someone who needs a little "hug", PM me with who you would like me to send it to and a reason and I will be choosing one of them. I will make the decision Monday evening (1st December) and will attempt to post it by the end of next week.

You are all very talented people and all the stockings shared so far are amazing.  Smiley

I'm so sad that you were flaked on for your first swap  Sad, it looks like you put an amazing amount of thought and effort into your package and I'm certain that anyone would have been thrilled to receive it, and it's a lovely idea to give some of it to someone that needs cheering Smiley  In particular your stocking is beautiful, I love the little jingle bells at the top, and your notebook is amazing too!

I hope this hasn't put you off swapping, it's a horrible thing to happen to anyone but particularly unfortunate for a first-time swapper Undecided
