I have posted on Craftster, for a little while now, but haven't worked out how to post pics on here yet. So this evening, after 3+ hours, I think I have finally worked it out.
I found a great pattern in a book for a lined, zip top make-up bag, and had to make one for myself. As they were relatively easy to make and looked good, I have made about 7 more!! Have given 3 as presents, and everyone loves them too. I used Cath Kidston scraps for 3 of them. and the leopard skin one is a present for my animal print mad friend who's birthday is this weekend! I changed the pattern to make them slightly larger, and here are the results-

They are all very cute. I guess it's fair to say you like to use them...

btw: HTML - the line before the leopard pic that starts with "img]" is missing the starting "[" should be "[img]". Or you can delete since you added a post with the pic... or not...

I love all the Cath Kidston patterns.  She is awesome!

You did a beautiful job on the pouches.  What book is the pattern in?

Great little bags, I need a couple of these to go into the bag I'm carrying right now. Great job, I love 'em!

Thanks for your comments! It seems I can post pics to my heart's content now.  Grin
The pattern for these bags comes from a book called Sew Pretty Homestyle by Tilda
isbn-13:978-0-7153-2749-4 or isbn -10.0=7153-2749-6. The bag in the book is a bit smaller in width, but I extended the pattern a bit for all my contents. Have some gorgeous deep blue & gold peacock feather fabric, cant wait to try one in that!!
