Received my stuff from Homerof2 just now... a beautiful snowflake and a Christmas-y Kleenex holder.

The Snowflake will look great on my tree and I will for sure make use of the tissue holder.

Thanks Cindy!!!

I am so in love with those little books, they're gorgeous!

I'd also love to know how elvissatx got the candy canes in the soap Smiley

She bought it that way.   Wink

And thanks to everyone for the compliments on the books.  It makes me feel very good to have my work validated by people who are as talented as y'all are!

Cool!  I made the Best of 2009 twice!   Check 'em out!

Look at the beautiful ornaments I received from kewlmomma!

First, an embellished pine cone that is just gorgeous. You can't see all the details in the photo, but there are clear and red beads, white glitter, and a little red bird on top. I love Christmas decorations that look nature-y, so this is perfect:

And second, the cutest handstitched penguin! It has a little teeny jingle bell attached to its scarf:

She also sent a sweet note and some candy canes.  Grin

Thanks so much, kewlmomma! I'm glad I got to be your first swap partner!  Smiley

Oh, love the penguin!

I have received from ineedart!  She has sent me the most amazing package!  I was definitely spoiled and she definitely did good on her first swap!

I received FOUR ornaments!

Once I opened the box the whole kit and caboodle was wrapped beautifully in some wonderful red material, with a beaded ornament done of my initial. Unfortunately I received my new camera a day after I opened my package.  I could NOT wait to open it, so this ucky picture is all ya' get of the wonderfully put together package.  Grin

The beaded man. Inspired by Beaker from the Muppets. Very cool.

A close up of the beaded 'C'

A quilted pinwheel.  So cute! I love it!

And I think this is my favorite. A button tree ornament inspired by an ornament from my wist.

A close up of the great embroidering job she did!

Thank you again to ineedart for the wonderful swap package and thanks to riario for organizing! Yay swaps! Yay Craftster!

P.S. Since I finally got my new camera, I wanted to post GOOD pictures of elvissatx's book ornament.  I replaced only the pics of the book ornament and left the other pics.

Oh, I'm so glad you liked your package!! I loved how the button tree thing turned out and I want to make myself one too. Don't think I'll get around to it before Christmas...too many projects! Smiley
