Awwww.  Love the snowman!  He's so cute!

I've received from elvissatx! but am trying to get the pictures off of my lovely phone.  The system is being...stubborn.   Angry

I LOVE everything sent and hope to have everything posted very soon!

I was SO excited to receive from elvissatx!  I opened up my package to find:

  • A cute little Santa card.
    The cutest Christmas soap!
The most wonderful, smoothest, fantastic Christmas taffies!
An adorable package of Christmas tissue for *those* days...
And last but not least...the most exquisitely made little book ornament.

The pictures do none of it justice.  Elvissatx, if you have better pictures, please do feel free to post.  My new camera is due in soon, so I'm hoping to replace these pictures with really nice ones once I get that in.

Christmas soap

Taffies!!! (Their gone now. Where'd you get them! I want more! LoL)

Christmas tissues

Thank you SO much elvissatx!  I really do love it all.

Note: Within all of these pics is a teaser of one of the extras I'm making for my partners!  Grin

Ooh, there's some good stuff here. The lollipops look good enough to eat and I especially love the painted Santa face ornament (beautiful work on that), the Russian nesting doll, and that lovely snowman.

fatewineroses, I'm so glad the package got there and you liked everything!

The taffy came from the bulk department at Central Market-- Austin's homegrown swanky grocery store.  It's also (sadly) the closest grocery store to my house-- that makes it a total recipe for disaster for me.   Wink  The soap also came from Central Market.

And I'm tickled that you like the little book.  I was really happy with how it came out-- it's some of the best bookbinding that I've done in a long time.  I like the concept of the tree ornament book that you can write your own memories and stories in so much that I may finally get around to opening an Etsy shop to sell them.  For next Christmas, of course.  It totally couldn't happen in time for this one.

Yay!  I love it when swap packages get received, even more than I love them showing up in my mailbox.

Cool!  I made the Best of 2009 twice!   Check 'em out!

I also received from elvissatx yesterday.

All the loot as it was in the package.

And everything revealed.

The ornament book.

And Charlie Brown's "pathetic" little tree, complete with one ornament and Linus' blanket.

I haven't tried the taffy yet.  I'm trying to hold onto it for a little while.

I love everything.  The ornament book is so great.  I'm looking forward to filling it up with some Christmas memories.

Be careful with that taffy.  One piece and you're gone.  Shocked  I loved the peppermint ones best though.  I love anything peppermint!  Grin

That book ornament is such a good idea, and the binding looks so professional. I also love the Charlie Brown tree! What a cute concept.

Mmm, taffy!

I love the book too! Oddly enough, I had the same idea for a Christmas memory book as the 'extra'  for fatewineroses, so I am VERY GLAD that wasn't the option I chose! You did a great job...the binding looks fantastic!
