I've always loved the classics, and I finally got around to making an Alice in Wonderland Costume. My dear friend made her Mad Hatter outfit and my gf quickly stitched a card scarf and ears to be the march hare.

Heres the dress before I finished the apron, and added the underskirt, and edging to the sleeves. I used a 70's button up shirt pattern (for the sleeves, I've always been really bad at sleeves) and then winged the rest of the dress. I think it turned out pretty good.

Heres with the apron.

I still consider it a work in progress. I'd like to deck out the apron in more lace as well as the dress but Halloween came sooner than I expect it.

(oh yeah, bleached my hair just for the outfit too.)

And not to leave out the March Hare and the Mad Hatter:
(I didnt make these, but I wish I had come up with the styl'n scarf-

I think it was a success when Parents came back by because the kids wanted their picture taken with Alice.
