halloween is my favorite holiday EVAR. some people use it as an excuse to get all sexay n stuff, i use it as an excuse to look ridiculous as heck.

that being said...
what's more ridiculous than a scene queen!? Wink

srsly u guise.

i made *almost* the entire costume. here's a lonely in-progress shot:

that's my scene queen necklace being covered in goo and newspaper.

i used stuff from my enormous fabric stash to make the clothes - pink jersey for the leggings, pink jersey for the tube top (that was stencilled with pink and white bling), pink waffleknit and pink/red tulle for the tutu (remember the laura ashley party dress? https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=226009.msg2447067#msg2447067 yep, used that leftover tulle teehee). the extensions were some cheap tracks i cut up and sewed clips on, and the necklace was cardboard, cardstock, paper mache, white paint, and rhinestones. my tattoos were painted on with face paint and sharpies. and there was a LOT of pump it up! and hairspray in my hair that night!!

i didn't get a pic of the hoodie, but it was just a pink hoodie that i took in on the sides and painted a big ol' hello kitty and some bling on the back. i guess i could take a picture if anyone wanted to see it, it's just chilling in the closet.

here are MOAR pictures:

(that's ohmymetro in the white... haha loves her!)

i also took myspacey pictures:

oh, right, and here's what my hair looked like the next morning:

thanks for looking!!

Haha, I have to agree, this is hilarious and spot on.  I love the necklace, really pulled it together.  I'd love to see a picture of the Hello Kitty hoodie if that isn't too much of a hassle!

OMG thats great.  I saw your pictures and went huh is that my sister?  She likes to be "scene" and I like to roll my eyes at her!  You so got the pictures down! Perfect.  Now did you go around all night telling people "how hard it is to be this cool?"

HIGH-larious. This is especially funny to me because I just spent a month working the Rocky Horror venue at Halloween Horror Nights and these chicks were EVERYWHERE. IT absolutely baffles me that these ladies think that they are interesting and original.
