This year I decided that since Bomber would be going to work with me on Halloween, she needed a costume. I proceeded to discover that Halloween costumes for large dogs are very hard to come by. At Target the XL size was for like a 35 pound dog!!! Lame.
So after taking a suggestion from a coworker, and a quick trip to the craft store the night before Halloween...:

The cutest, most ginormous Daisy you've every seen!

12 7x11 pieces of felt at .77 a piece and a spare hour & 1/2.
The best thing about it is that her collar fits through the yellow tube. No elastic or trying to stretch it over her big block head. (also that makes it adjustable and now my dalmation can wear it next year!)
It came out really cute, I sewed pipe cleaners to the back of each petal to give them a little curl.
The best part was that one of my coworker's dogs (a little Maltese) was dressed as a bee. The two of them together was super cute! To bad I didn't get a picture. Sad

How cute! I totally know what you mean with Target costumes. They're very cute, but don't fit my 80 pound pit bull Smiley I love how you decided to make the costume instead. I should try that this year. Bravo!
