So here's one of the costumes I made this year.  It was for my sister's boyfriend.  He wanted to ride an ostrich.  It took so much polyfill and about killed my sewing machine but it was worth it.  They went to a huge party here in Vegas and he won the costume contest.  The ostrich's name is Penelope and she skateboards.

Don't forget your towel.

I have to ask....

This is the 3rd guy riding an ostrich costume I've seen made at various message boards posted today (although yours is BY FAR, the best Smiley )... is there something I'm missing? Cool costume idea, but is there any specific reason there's so many of them out there? A TV show or cartoon feature this thing or something that I didn't see? How did more than one person think up this idea?

It's the first I've heard of it and am curious. Smiley

That costume is AWESOME!! It's amazing that he could keep his balance skateboarding with an ostrich on him (him on an ostrich?)

This one makes me laugh!  That is hilariously awesome!

"Waiter! Waiter! What's this robot doing in my soup?"
"It looks like he's performing human tasks twice as well, because he knows no fear or pain."
