My bulletin board had a design I'd painted on it when I was about 14, so it was a little dated until I put spray paint (and a little acrylic for the background) to it. This was so easy and came out pretty well, I think, for a first stenciling job. The letters were freehanded onto a folder with pastels and sliced out with my handy dandy exacto knife.

If you use too much black paint like I did when I tested it, it looks eerily like my ex-boyfriend. I'm not sure why. I ended up incorporating it into some artwork for his band. With normal amounts of black paint though, it looks nothing like him. I don't get it either.  Smiley
