This costume started off with a pumpkin costume pattern from Butterick. I just needed a base pattern, which I made out of off-white fleece.  I used bleached Harem Cloth (very much like cheesecloth with a tighter weave) for the mummy wrap and tea-dyed it to give it an aged look. I tore the harem cloth into 3" strips and sewed them onto the costume pieces before assembling.  I left some pieces of the mummy wrap hanging in the back and on the hood for a bit of mummy mystique.

Thank you! I had fun doing it. 2 1/2 spools of thread and two broken needles, though!
