I can't wait for my December countdown this year now that I have my calendar finished! Grin

So incredibly fiddly! I had to remove the back of the card to take out the doors. Because they were seethrough I had to paint, collage and then varnish them all. Then hunt around for teeny holiday related images to fit into the windows. Then try to get them lined up, or as near to as I could manage Wink Then reassemble it all again.

With the number doors closed

Open doors with the pictures behind

This is how it looked before it went under the knife

Help! My insides are coming out!

That totally screams "Phizzy!" Wonderful transformation; I love the mistletoe in the corner. Have fun counting down the days in December!

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

Gorgeous!  And serendipitous.  I was so inspired by your travel journal that I started one of my own for my trip next February to Argentina... and the cover is that kind of bingo card, but the car-ride version!  I'm planning on replacing some of the pics behind the doors, especially if I can have images from my travel ephemerra or photos of the same things (barn, railroad, haystack (yes, haystack!)).  Now I know it can be done, just probably not as well by me.   Tongue
