Has it been decided when the new round is going to start?
I am just curious because of the holiday (I will be out of town and without internet)...
mmmmmm Thanksgiving...

If there is something specific in my shop that you have been wanting, either go ahead and claim it or let me know you were wanting it (so I can make sure to leave it in the shop for you).  I am going to be cleaning out my shop before I post it next round, so I just wanted to give a heads up.  Thanks!

Wow, I love those cards, AM!

Phizzy, if you want to put the toggle buttons in your shop, I'll claim them. I need them for fastening the top of some reconstructed sweater cardigans I plan to make this winter. I probably would only use one or two toggles up near the top.  Smiley

Speaking of reconstructions, I was working on this shirt for Ian today. Something touristy so he can laugh at winter.  Wink (clickable images)

I still need to do the topstitching on it, after he goes to bed tonight. This is made from three different thrift shop shirts. If I can find any other touristy or interesting T-shirts, should I make some more shirts like this for my shop?  Smiley

And here's an example of the things I'll need toggles for. I took a sweater from the 25-cent table, serged away the red around the edges, cut off part of the sleeves (getting rid of the horrible red/green cuffs in the process), and serged on new cuffs from another 25 cent sweater. This one is just fastened with a shiny brooch. I want to try making some others. I need to lose some wieght, but want to have fun clothes in the meanwhile.

Here is the swaeter before:

And after!

I added the fabric wreath to my shop. Of course I waited until the sun went down to take a photo.   Roll Eyes

Well this is good-bye until January! I'll pop in and see what's going on.

I have an incredible load of bookkeeping, paperwork, and web site design/adding products to do before the end of the year. (I'll trade supplies for a crafty bookkeeper. Anyone want to work Friday mornings for points? lol, no seriously!)

Here's a bacon-recipe going away present:
Bacon Breadstick Focaccia

Thank you Aeronberry for the needed points to close!

I've had so much fun, and shopped for so much good stuff!

Organizers, proper PMs sent off, thank you so much for the hard work!

bye all! (au revoir? since I'll be back!)

knitting looms, embroidery machines, weaving,  knitting software~all discounted!

Everybody seems to be so busy busy. I suppose its due to the holidays.
I know I have been pretty busy lately.

Such great things in the shops, so wish I had more points.
NTS: i need to finish my basket of sew-mes and make some more things for my shop.

We'll miss you Sewknitter, good luck with all the book keeping.
so I wanted your gal's opinion on a current project I'm doing for my man.
Its a tie with a Disturbed band logo.

I want to know what color you gal's think is best to accentuate this tie for my man.
the topic has a pic of my available paints;
but also feel free to name another color, i can have him pick it up.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

hottyblond - go with red, mixing some black into the paint for a darker shade (I guess that would be maroon).

sewknitter - look forward to catching up with you in 2009! but is it really possible to stay away from us for that long?  Grin
Also, if I had Quicken or something similar on my computer I would TOTALLY work for you! Alas, I don't.

I'll be gone all day and night tomorrow, with a good amount of time sitting in the car, so I'm going to borrow my housemate's drop spindle and try to teach myself how to spin! If I warm to it, I will claim one of your spindles when I return, Avian Flight.  Smiley

I think a red colour of some kind would work well too Smiley

Round 21 should be up by the evening of Sunday, November 30 if all the planets (and organizers!) align!

Cute wreath AQ!!  LL, I love, love Ian's tee.  That rocks!!

See you in Jan Sewknitter!!

Things are getting crazy busy here with all the presents and baking I have to get done.  I swear I am not going to volunteer so much for Lana's school next year.  I had no idea that most of the parents only volunteer for 1-2 things.  Anyhow I'll be packing gift bags and baking till my fingers bleed.  Hehe.  On Tues I went to help the kids chop celery for their stone soup that they do as a group (nursery, preK, and K).  Lana told me that the soup was horrible and tasted like vegetables.  Hahaha.  Then on Wed John went with them on a class field trip.  We are hardly at work anymore.  One of the dads was surprised to find out that we had jobs. If we keep this up we might not.  Smiley  And I am organizing the Christmas work party, a Blythe swap on TIB, and trying to get all my crafting/shopping done for everyone.  ACK!  My hubby says that I live on stress.  Maybe he's right.  Oh well.

On a crafty note I treated myself to a frame stamp so that I could make some fun decopaged cards with Lana's face in them.  I got the idea from a gal in the IYP swap who made some amazing cards with mice wearing hats.  I am hoping to offer something similar as custom type cards in my shop.  Would any of you be interested?  Maybe I should show you an example of one once I get one done.  I hope I can finish my cleaning tomorrow in time to play a bit with this because I really can't wait to make them. Or maybe I should concentrate on finishing Lana's dollies.  Anyhow one thing is for sure.  I am going to get some much needed sleep.

Happy crafting everyone!!
