I LOVE Hunter S. Thompson's work. And the fact that he was a raving loony on top of that just makes me love him more.

Two days after his suicide I made this shirt...it's far from perfect, don't get me wrong. Especially the lettering...eek! But it's the first stencil I've ever done on a t-shirt, and I've already had half a dozen people ask me where to get them!! I'm hooking them up with free ones. Somebody wanting something I made makes me *glow.*  Smiley

I love that. Hunter Thompson is awesome. Was the lettering a stencil or did you write it on? i think it looks really good.

If I'd had more time I would have gone and bought transfer pens for the lettering. Hobby Lobby was closed though and I really wanted it done right then, so I freehanded the letters on a piece of cardstock and made a stencil. It was awfully time consuming; given the end result I wouldn't recommend it. But hey, at least the wacky lettering works with the quote!

Thanks for the positive feedback, y'all are awesome!

That's awesome. I love Hunter Thompson too and might have to make a shirt or patch or something. I love the quote choice too.
