I REALLY want to sew a "beanie" - style hat. I can knit and crochet, but I'm tired of using yarn for hats. I can not find a pattern (I think they are hiding from me!). I've googled and everything.

Can any one point me in the direction of a pattern?
Or explain in detail how to make one? With a band around the bottom?
Pleaseeeeeee??

I'd be forever grateful!

Thanks,
Amanda!

There's a skullcap in this pattern: http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M4664.htm?search=4664&page=1. Is that the style that you mean?
