Im not sure if I can post pictures of our party, but I figure if I show all the costume we put together and not the store bought ones it would be ok. Let me know if there is anything wrong, please!

First, the decorations

she was made out of plastic bags and a hanger!

paper mache hands, newspaper we just poured blood and grass over!

the inside was pretty much spier webs!

next food: just sugar! not such a good combo with the alcohol!

my friend and i made all of these and barely anyone ate any! we were so sad, but it was fun making them!

it was my boyfriends birthday, so we made him this cake. the headstone is fondant and the skeleton and rats are rubber.

Some of the costumes:
There's a ton more, but I don't have them on this computer.

my friend and the cupcake we made for him. his outfit was completely thrifted.

this is he and I. I am girl Luigi. I made my dress and had a green tutu underneath. I also had to spray paint the hat because I couldn't find any green hats at all!

my friend who was mickey mouse. we found all her clothes too, and yes, we went for the boy version of our costumes, not sure why?

my boyfriend and me! we thrifted his overalls and shirt and then decorated his hat.

There's more pictures, but I feel like this is already way too much! Thank you for looking!

Great idea for the paper-mache hands!  And I adore the cupcakes.  I've had that trouble with pretty cupcakes before too - everyone likes to look at them too much to eat them!  Great job, and way to celebrate early!

I love planning parties - come to me if you need any ideas!

I'd be delighted! Im sure there are better ways, but we were very cheap and didn't want to buy anything! I had my boyfriend "borrow" some rubber gloves from work. My friend and I blew them up and tied them together at the bottoms. I ripped the end off the bottoms to tie them with, it's like a rubber ring on the opening of the glove. After that, we just covered them with newpaper strips dipped in glue and a tiny bit of water. Do atleast two coats to make sure it's strong. Once they dried, (took about two days) we left the gloves inside and took them outside. I used little wooden skewers, like for shish-ka-bobs and stuck them through to the tip of the middle finger and had my friend break off the top so they didn't show and then stab the other side into the ground. We didn't paint the gloves, but if we had more time, I think a brown paint would look good. Or even papering the gloves with brown, white or tan party streamers. Instead i just poured blood all over them and ripped up grass and dirt to disguise it!

So I hope that was helpful, just let me know if you have any other questions!

and i forgot to add, don't forget to bring the hands inside if it rains, like it is right now, or else they will probably fall apart!
