I had no idea what to get a friend of mine for xmas.  I remembered he like the Pale man from Pan's labrynth but I couldn't find any kind of Pale man memorabilia that was resobably priced.  I had a few extra canvas's so I whipped this up in 2 days before our party. I'm no painter so criticism is appreciated.

I think he liked it, but you can never tell...

I think it's pretty fantastic! Pale Man is so creepy! Love the table setting. Smiley

Amazing! I loved that movie. The pale man is so fascinatingly creepy. Cheesy

I love the way you did the border... it really adds depth and interest!  I'm sure he was VERY happy to receive such a lovely painting!

Ah, Pale Man <3 Good job on the details and the border - I love the archway in that shot of Pale Man, and the way you outlined it looks great. Also, kudos on putting lots of effort into your friend's gift Smiley

If you're looking for criticism, maybe try to use a greater range of tones (very dark to very light, but save the darkest and lightest colours for the *very* darkest and lightest parts of the painting). That way you'll get greater depth and it'll look more 3d.
