I'm not actually a cow person, I like owls (as you should be able to tell by my username). I am a firm believer in UFOs and aliens, however. I mean, I don't just believe, I know they exist.

Moooving on... I had this idea for a pair of shoes a while ago and I was going to take a dark blue pair of shoes and use a bleach pen on them to hopefully make it look like stars. I let the bleach stay on the shoes for about half an hour and nothing happened. So, I was disappointed but not discouraged. I painted these last weekend and I'd originally planned on having the UFO beaming the cow up on one shoe and then painting an alien dude on the second shoe with his hand in that Vulcan hand position, you know, when they say, "Live long and prosper." Then I was thinking it wouldn't go together very well so I just painted a hill with cows looking up at the disappearing UFO. I painted these because I find it really funny that aliens are always depicted as the bad guys stealing our cows.

On to the pictures:

Sorry for the blurriness of the picture. I was using my flash this time so it shouldn't be blurry. Anyway, this shows the UFO on the other shoe as it's leaving.
Yarn, it's not just for grannies anymore.

These shoes are awesome and totally wisted!!

And yes, I know they're there too. Hubby and I have actually seen UFO's before, and not together. He saw one about four years ago, and I saw the exact same thing about eight months ago. Different places and times, exact same unidentified space craft. Always nice to meet a fellow believer!!!  Grin

I do personal swaps! Just PM me!

I've recently gotten into blythes; check out my blog about mine here:

Isn't it so exciting to see a UFO? My parents I actually just witnessed one together a few nights ago while we were outside looking at Jupiter through the big binoculars. My dad saw it first and then told us to look and it was this little white light that was flying across the sky and then fading. He said that it was larger when he first saw it, so it was probably flying upwards rather than in a 2-D direction. There's a UFO reporting website that you can go to to report your sightings: http://www.nuforc.org/

Other than that, thanks for the comments!

haha, that's funny.   Grin  I know a girl who has a tattoo of a spaceship beaming up a cupcake.  I guess they needed some milk to wash it down with.  lol

BTW, my bf and I saw what he believes to be a UFO a couple of nights ago.  There was a bright light that just dropped and disappeared.  We both went, "did you see that?!"  I guess technically it was unidentified... and it was flying... so there you have it.   Grin  There have been a lot of sightings in TX over the past few years.   Shocked

Thank you so much! It just takes a lot of patience. The funny thing is that I can't paint on a normal canvas but I can paint anything on shoes or purses.
