$5.73 for 3 yards of black kraft paper, 1 roll of Scotch tape and 2.5 hours of cutting and assembling gets you a pretty cool window display... I'd like to add a few more touches but I'll probably just get lazy and leave well enough alone.

More pics...

Me in my super-cool witch pants gathering all my materials

My trusty assistant checking his camera, scissors at the ready. BTW this is a great project for wee ones because it's pretty forgiving. I drew bones with chalk on the black paper and he cut away.

Checking the progress...

Whee! All done... here's what it looks like from the insides, fairly boring to be perfectly honest

Outside however made me want to do a happy dance. Who am I kidding? I DID do a happy dance!

An extra skull drawn by my most awesome and talented kiddo.

That looks fantastic!  And what a cute and talented helper you had too!

Good work, that's a great idea, and if we ever turned lights on in my house *coughcoughweliveinacavecough* I might steal your idea!   Cheesy

That came out amazing. We do widow paints sometimes, but I would have never thought of that.
The clouds in the picture just make it that much cooler. Beautiful!

Ashes, ashes, we all fall down.

I love it!  I've got a ton of windows facing out over the neighborhood...I wish I'd thought of doing something like this in them!   Cheesy
