so I got a Bobobie BJD last week! The elf sprite with the mature body and OOOooo is it hard to sew for! I have already made a few dresses that were supposed to be for the 43cm MSD dolls but they all came out WAY too big! any help for the noob owner of a BJD would be most helpful.

BUt i wasnt sure where to post pics of my new love! I also acquired the Tezca DAL and the my melody PUllip this month too! Boy do I feel spoiled!

I found some barbie outfits for my DAL that fit her but are more than a little loose but I just hemmed them up a bit and they look super cute!
*these have my deviantart tag on them* XP so please dont copy!

Doll noir  (i got a pair of boots for her, but no clothes...yet, hence a ribbon protecting her delicate nature!)

any help to fit her with clothes would be most appreciated! I am going to do a small face up on her soon, adding eyelashes and some light black liner to her eyes plus fingernails N toesies will be painted!

comments welcome!

Congrats on getting a BJD! Cheesy They're so pretty, aren't they?

Do you know about a website called Den of Angels? Their forums are awesome!
Its completely for ABJDs, and has lots of tutorials and patterns for shirts and dresses and everything else!

There is also Undead threads- http://trimline.addr.com/undead/patterns.htm
And this page here has lots of links(not sure how many work)- http://www.dolldazzle.com/Links.htm
Den of Angels- http://www.denofangels.com/forums/index.php

I hope you make lots of pretty clothes for your doll!

Bobobie is a slim MSD.  Look for patterns targeted toward Unoa and Narae and the fit will be pretty good.  Haute Doll magazine sometimes has patterns for Unoa in it, and if you joined Den of Angels and seach the customization board for patterns, you are sure to find some.

Visit http://ghilie.wordpress.com/ for the poppet pattern.
