I kind of hate wearing dresses. But I love making them.

front:

back:

The zipper is a bit funky and off center, but for my first zipper, I don't really care.

As for the corset, I needed a white underbust for my halloween costume and decided to make one.

It isn't boned, just reinforced with two layers of interfacing. And those stripes on it are just tiny folds that I edgestitched.

I adore your dress  Smiley Is the bust ruched? I like the contrast with the spots and chunks of colour-really retro  Smiley

I also like the idea of making a corset to fit your needs. I spend ages looking for a brown corset to wear under a bridesmaid's dress and didn't think about making one myself.

the dress is so cute.
I know what you mean about not liking to wear dresses.
i used to be like that completely. But now I have just gotten fed up with pants, and love dresses Tongue
And I love the fabric of it!
Good job Smiley

Thank you so much!  For the bust I just did this and built the rest of the dress from there.
