Thanks for the compliments! Seriously recommend checking out the youtube video that I mentioned in the first post (with the pictures); I'm quite proud of how similar to the actual character my girl looks.

I am always open to personal swaps...I'm always on the lookout for new bags, shawls, punk/steampunk accessories, Altoids tins, etc. As a professional illustrator/fine artist, I can offer something crafty, or something more artsy. Let's talk!

Thanks again!

The only thing I couldn't quite copy from the actual scene was the embroidery on her dress. I wanted to work with tissue paper, because it reminded me of clothes pin dolls I used to make as a kid, but I couldn't find any flower appliques or anything small enough to glue onto the dress. Anyway, I improvised with those tiny silver beads you can get at the craft store that don't even have holes in them. I think the effect is good, and still gets the point across.

Thought I'd mention it, as there are bound to be some diehard detail-lovers who'll notice that in the show, her dress has flowers, not beads. Smiley

The hair: as I was doing this on the cheap, I actually just cut some hair off of a Bratz doll and glued it onto the head. I thought it would look cheap and obvious, but because she's sorta "falling" through the air, it actually works out! I also was really, really careful about placement.
