I like it. I think the fabric is neat and it does look really warm. Personally, I like the sleeves in the firs pictures better. The only thing I would do for me would be to make the sleeves longer b/c I'm just picky about stuff like that. Is this pattern still available? I would love to make one of these.

Wow LOL lots of replies since I last visited.  Thanks everyone for your comments.  It's one of my first pieces and I'm learning a lot (especially fabric stuff).  My BF's father is actually a pro. He makes baby bedding and baby products, I'm excited about this month because I'm going to go to his factory and have a hey-day picking out fabrics but I'll be lacking in the knits (I really want to make a slinky knit). With my BF being exposed to that kind of atmosphere...I do respect their input.

And I did get the pattern from BurdaStyle...I love that website! Free patterns woot!

I don't understand why so many people think that everything has to be a version of something else that's already been done five billion times. I love the piece, the colors are lovely, and it looks great on you (the original). Functionality can be tough with prettier things, but this encompasses beauty and functionality. I think you've got a great eye and awesome taste.

And I'm not just blowing smoke up yer bum. I don't comment on things that don't capture my attention in a positive way. Smiley
