My mum just sprang this on me a couple of days back- she's running a stall at her school's christmas bazaar to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and has asked me to make a few bits to sell.
So far I've got little purses (framed and zippered), pencil cases and hand warmers.
Can anyone think of any ideas for other quick things (since I only have a couple of weeks) that will sell well on the day? I don't have an outlet to sell them afterwards so need to get rid of most of it on the day and then palm them off on people for Christmas  Wink

I can sew, knit, crochet, have dabbled in a bit of soap making but I'd be happy to try anything really.

Thanks in advance Cheesy

well, time is running out, but I've had luck with making covers for inexpensive notebooks.  I really like the composition books, and buy a bunch when they're on sale.  Check dollar stores for good deals, too.

Use felt, fabric, decoupage, or whatever works for you to cover and decorate the book, add a ribbon for bookmark, and figure out a pencil holder (parallel slashes in the fabric cover, or ribbon loops both work).

Include a matching pencil or pen and sell them as journals.

I think quick little things would do well - what about crocheted or knit ornaments?  Like the pine cones from PlanetJune, or her pointsettia.  Bath bombs are easy to make, and package.  I made a few dozen in a couple of hours last year as a last minute gift for people at a Christmas party that we were going to in a couple of days.
