I've done a couple of quilts, but mostly just winging it, so I decided to take a beginners class at my local quilt store, and it was great, I learnt lots of nifty tricks, and the correct way to do things

and here is my finished quilt!

and detail of a couple of the blocks

I also shelled out for the cotton batting as opposed to polyester, and even though it cost a fortune (i'm in New Zealand so things like that cost a lot more) it was totally worth it and I'm pretty much a convert

Oh, wow.  I love the randomness of the flowered patches and the overall color scheme is so sweet.  Great job - you really have an eye for design!

What a great choice of fabrics - plain, small pattern and large pattern and you have used them to perfection. I also love the way that the pattern appears randomly but slmost seems planned. Great work.

the pattern or overall design of the quilt really is striking.  I really like it!
