I finally finished this apron today.  I started it last week and I just have not had the time to finish it.  It came out pretty cute.  I can't wait to wear it to work.

Super sexy!  Did you draft the pattern yourself?  Lucky you to be able to wear something so saucy to work!

I used McCall's pattern 5643.  It was pretty easy to do.

How great! I need an apron for work, I should make one so I don't get haircolor on myself. What do you do that you need one?

I'm a hairstylist.  I get color everywhere.

Looks cute, but doesn't it leave a lot uncovered? Seems like it would allow chemicals like dye/bleach/perm solution to get all over your shirt.
How has it worked for you? I saw an adorable pattern at Walmart yesterday and would love to use it but feel it leaves a lot uncovered too

It leaves a little bit uncovered, but works pretty well.  I think I would probably make the neck strap a bit shorter next time.  That would bring the top up a bit.

I wear aprons everywhere.  Hehe.  I think people think I'm weird for doing it..but oh well.  I have some cute half ones I've made too.  I love them.  They add a cute touch to any outfit.
