I am sitting here with a big smile as you speak.
I am very happy you liked it all !!!!!!!!!!
Read all the messages on the back of the artwork?
In the beginning I was stalking you and found out about the cartoons in your profile. (and right them down in my "swapbook")
A time later, they were gone! there were no longer in your profile... *looked again, now there back again? I don't get it O_o*
but I had written them down !!! Wink

the hairclips are easy to make Wink, dropped them in on the last day 'cause I wanted to make something for your kids!
But I didn't find anything for your boy ... do that's where the recipee cards come in Wink

Reallly glad you liked everything !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to post a film of my book on youtube (I will post the link here)
'cause I used a tutorial on there and she wanted to see it Smiley

Here are my AMAZING goodies from bubblegum_pheonix! Grin

Now i just want to say that these are a fantastic bonus to the friendship i've made with her! She is an awesome person & has been such a fantastic partner Grin Grin Grin

So here goes..............................

Group shot!

Sheepy stitch markers

Crocheted coaster/mat.........i am NOT putting anything on top of this! She is way too cute to hide Cheesy

Felt scissor case with scissors & sheepy!

The other side of case with stitch markers & needles in situ

My gorgeous crocheted fingerless gloves & hat..........Poor bubblegum_pheonix really fretted over these...........but it was worth it. I LOVE THEM!!!!

Gloves being modelled by me

Hat being modelled by me in the mirror..........lol!

A wonderful crochet kit that she put together for me. She made me the most marvelous book with the stitch directions in it & sent me yarn & needles & stuffing to make the lamb in the book.

I am going to post more piccies in the next post to show you how fantastic the book is!

EDITED TO ADD - she also sent me  NEW Zealand 2009 calendar which has pics that are virtually identical to my home in Scotland, a pen with kiwi's on it........too cute! But also she sent me a lamb poppet which did not make it into the photos as she'd legged it onto my bed with the rest of my flock! Cheesy She was last seen cozying up with them Grin Grin Grin

Ok folks, I'M BAAAAAACK! Grin Grin Grin

I wanted to show you all the book that bubblegum_pheonix put together for me as part of my crocheting kit.
She drew it ALL herself by hand and also put in real touchable examples of the stitches as i'm a visual learner & if i can't see it in the flesh, so to speak, then i have no idea how to do it! This book is AWESOME & i have learnt a couple of stitches already Grin

So i had to show you some of the pages inside the book so you can see just HOW much time & detail that she put into this for me!!!!!

There are a few more with patterns & details of how to read them & yarn etc.

As you can see this girl is AWESOME!!!!!

please please please tell me the arm warmers fit? lmao, Ill possibly cry if they dont, but Ill fix them.
Ive learnt that as your crochet improves your stitches get tighter... it took me 4 attempts to get the arm warmers the same size lmao  Cheesy
The book was awesome, and I am most proud of it. My other half and Mother didnt want me to send it (muttered something about how much time and blah blah blah... Mum thought I brought it... until she recognised the hand writing)
Did the scissors make it over ok? not sure if customs would have okd them or not

glitter it, no seriously, just add glue and glitter, no one will notice
