Hey guys.

Yeah, the reason the tutorial went missing is because I transferred my site around quite a bit this summer/fall, and I use my geocities site now for testing only.

Right now, I have my own domain. www.craftylike.net. You can find the tutorial under "DIY".

It's so awesome that I can still affect people with it like a year later. It's still holding up, I just don't use it as much, since everyone here's seen it and is no longer effective. But I'm moving to California in January, so I get a whole new audience!

That is so cool!  I was thinking about iron on vinyl but maybe that wouldn't work with the small pieces.  What kind of tape did you use?

Clear packing tape, I believe it was Scotch brand. It was heavy, but wasn't tannish or yellow, it was very clear. I'm sorry, I don't remember the exact type. I wish I did, all the new packing tape I've tried doesn't work very well...

I made my own! Here's the new photos including the strap I had to make... They didn't have any ready made ones at Jo-anne's.

front open-the duct tape isn't as wiggly as it looks. I had the flap curled up for awhile so it'll flatten with a book or two.

rear view

inside, flap open.  I'm thinking i'll cover the entire inside of the flap in duct tape to make it look better.

I used 3 layers of clear packing tape on top, 2 layers of clear duct tape on the back, pieced it like a jordy bag but without the bottom seam.  I put in 2 layers of cardboard in the bottom only.  I lined the inside obviously with duct tape as well as edged all the rough edges.

Any extra logos or pictures are things I cut off of the big one pound or whatever bags

Thoughts? Opinions?

I made a starburst bag kinda similar, it hold up suprisingly well! I love the colors on yours!
