Thanks y'all  Grin. My friend received it in today's mail and loved it. Maybe the Texas coast won't feel soooooo far away when she looks at it (she lives in upstate NY).

Do you know, I had the hardest time doing stem stitch on the beach towel!!! Maybe because I was taking tiny little stitches, or maybe because I was putting the stitches too close together -- all I know is they were sure boogery to do, and they're usually not for me! I also thought it would've been fun to have stitched a title on the book, but the book was small and I figured there'd be much creative cursing going on if I tried to stitch wording that tiny, and even then the stitching would be so small it'd be illegible so all that creative cursing would've gone to waste  Wink. But it's a fun idea for another time, when I can stitch a bit bigger book!!
